From above and on the streets. Building from the last video, this footage captures more of the cityscape of my hometown, Newcastle, This was made using a DJI phantom 2 drone, with a gopro HERO4 silver.
Newcastle was established in 1804, as a convict settlement, where prisoners were sent to work in the coal mines. Newcastle became and is still the world's largest coal port. It is a moderate sized beach town that has a lot of history and charm. The lifestyle is relaxed, having all the aspects of a city, whilst having the access to some of the best beaches in Australia.
Iconic landmarks featuring in the video: Queens Wharf Tower, ANZAC walk, Mereweather Baths, Nobbys Beach, Mereweather Beach, the Cowrie hole, the Bogey Hole, Nobbys Lighthouse, Honeysuckle, Christ Church Cathedral, Customs House, Hunter Street, King Edward Park, Newcastle Beach.
